The Chaos spells are mostly modeled on the hero spells where the 5/6 chance is a higher defense than against a black shield but also doesn't require an attack roll. They just didn't remodel the spells to account for it being the same chance as a white shield.
There us who keeps track of these HeroQuest episodes so please don't skip more *shakes fist* I had two expansions to this as a kid, hope you can get thouse as well in the future and play them. ~_^
Gentlemen never stop the hero quest. Get all the expansions and do them too. The wizards of morcar one gets you mercenaries to help and you can fight ogres in one.
Just looked on the Mentor's Library wiki-page, for the European release there were Bracers and a Cloak of Protection that were wizard only items which allowed you to reroll defense dice.
As I recall, the Wizard can use the dagger, so I guess after using his fire spells, he can throw knives at the enemy for a while (which functionally does the same thing as Fire of Wrath, one point of damage at range).
I feel that the person who designed the narrow corridors and small rooms on the board wasn't talking to the person who made the rule about not being able to shoot through friendlies.
Anyone else think the dice roller doesn't seem as random as it should be? There seem to be a lot of combat rolls that are exactly the same as the previous one.
Re-watching this after awhile, and laughing at y'all inventory glitching a crossbow into existence because it's a nearly completely different set of people so y'all didn't realize somebody in the last game died and another player picked up their crossbow.
I'm going to steal the name Wardoz for something. I might alter it to Edwardoz. "Edwardoz: Sage of Middle-Management!" That, or shove it into a cheesy drugstore novel about hackers, and maybe swap the z for an x. "Wardox. He's a legend on the darknet."
I think If you can Move threw other players, you should Be able to Shoot threw there squares also, since your Party will Move for each other, DUCK Stab says Elf Waygo. I LOVE that Dice App is it openly available, what is its name if So.

Did they do that?
I hope they continue to go through the quests. I wish I could try this game, but watching is the next best thing.

What did they mean the quest for the lost wizard is not good. That's where you find one of the main artifacts Borin's Armour

Should at least be able to shoot through the dwarf.
Why skip quest 7? It's pretty important considering that's where the Hero's obtain the rare Artifact of Borin's Armor.
Justin Tyrrell isn't that the plus two defense dice armour that won't slow you to one movement dice

Where is your Dungeon Master voice? If you can still talk the day after playing DM you aren't doing it right
I remain very disappointed that Zapsworthdidn't become a lich.
Why is the Dwarf dressed as a barista?
Why aren't YOUR dwarves dressed as baristas?
